DIANE MORIN MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SPECIAL OLYMPICS QUÉBEC IS NAMED MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF CANADA

Last December, psychologist and teacher Diane Morin was named member of the Order of Canada, one of our country’s highest civilian honors. The Order of Canada recognizes the recipient’s outstanding dedication to the community and exceptional contribution in a specific field.

Diane Morin holds the Chair in intellectual disability and behavior disorders at UQAM where she teaches. She also works with numerous organizations and associations engaged in that field at the provincial, national and international levels.

We at Special Olympics Québec are very proud to have Ms. Morin on our Board of Directors and we wish to commend her for her dedication to the community in general and for her contribution to improving the quality of life of individuals living with an intellectual disability or a behavior disorder.
