Your commitment is essential to our activities.

The Special Olympics movement is active in 170 countries. Its mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with an intellectual disability (ID) through sport.

More than 4.2 millions special athletes of all ages are registered worldwide and 47 500 in Canada, with nearly 8000 taking part in the recreational or competition programs offered throughout Québec. SOQ's network of annual competitions includes 80 events for all skill levels and in each of its 17 official sports.

Under the honorary co-presidency of Éric Bujold and Judith Ménard, both vice-presidents at National Bank Private Banking 1859, the SUMMA benefit evening raised $685,333. Special Olympics Quebec's flagship fundraising event took place on Monday, June 20 in Montreal.

Lionel Carmant, MP for Taillon and Minister for Health and Social Services of the Government of Québec attended a unified soccer activity this Thursday at the TELUS-University Laval Stadium. It was 46 students from the Faculty of Dentistry at Laval University and 46 Special Olympics Québec athletes, from maison des adultes de Québec and the Phénix des Rivières team, who competed in a friendly and good mood.
